Connect & Cliffs

Meet in Howth Village for a short walk to the starting point. Begin with a 5-minute Pilates warm-up then hike south along the cliff path enjoying views of Ireland’s Eye and Lambay Island. After approximately 30 minutes, stop off for our first Pilates movement.  Continue hiking along the cliff walk taking in views of Dublin Bay and the Wicklow mountains.

Bay & Beach

Around 45 minutes later, we stop close to the famous Baily Lighthouse for our next Pilates movement.  As we set off again leaving the lighthouse behind, we head west towards Doldrum Bay along more secluded pathways.  About one hour later we arrive at a small beach and stop for our third Pilates session.

Sounds & Sights

Leaving the beach behind, we continue our hike, scrambling over rocks, past fishing cormorants and then it’s time to turn inland to our next and very different Pilates experience.  Our hike then skirts Sheilmartin Hill offering glorious views of the city before taking us across a golf course and into the Bog of the Frogs.

Frogs & Food

We cross the Bog of the Frogs and then make a brief stop for another Pilates experience before continuing our hike back towards the village.  We make one final stop for a short stretch and cool down in preparation for some well-earned food washed down with a creamy pint of Guinness.
